STATEMENT

Member of the Spanish National Committee of ICOMOS-UNESCO. Cultural manager, director of art centers, consultant, and technical advisor in historic heritage and contemporary art for public and private administrations. Cultural researcher and independent curator, he has also held international positions such as deputy director and assistant curator at the Contemporary Art Centers Factoría Diseño and Factoría Habana, the latter affiliated with the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana (OHC).

Specialist in cultural heritage and contemporary art, with twenty years of experience managing art centers and galleries (C5 Collection, Factoría Compostela, Factoría Habana, Factoría Diseño, A Chocolataría, Espai Bigueta, Espai Art-Kos). He has organized, coordinated, and directed culturally significant projects and events internationally across Europe, America, and Asia, including exhibitions, contemporary art fairs, biennials, and festivals.

 

Regular contributor to Grabado & Edición (G&E) magazine and the Ankaria Foundation. Curator of 25 exhibitions and coordinator or assistant curator in 136 exhibitions. Editor and author of the outreach book Tejiendo la Memoria. Author of 13 critical essays published in specialized journals. Coordinator and/or editor of 40 publications and catalogs.
